Instant Invite gives control over precisely when, where, and how Live Help appears based on goals and Web context such as time spent on page, pages viewed, searches conducted, or any session data. It enables librarians to proactively invite library website visitors to chat with librarians, delivering just-in-time, personalized, interactive assistance to each visitor, and engaging the right online visitors with the right assistance at the right time by presenting an invitation to your website visitors when certain rule conditions are met.
When deciding on the features for your invitation, y gives control over precisely when, where, and how the invitation for live chat assistance appears based on such elements as time spent on page, zero hits in catalog searches,etc. The full list of rules is found below.
Rules
InstantInvite allows you to define multiple comparative values in your conditions for a single rule. Furthermore, InstantInvite offers enhanced condition options for defining the rules to offer your invitations.
You can design rules for presenting invitations by using one or more of the conditions listed below:
Current Location Conditions
•User visits website for the first time
•User abandons the website
•User visits a certain number of pages
•User visits a page with a specific URL a certain number of times
•User assigned random number between 1 and 100 and falls within a certain range
Past Location Conditions
•User came to page directly from another page with a specific URL
•User came to page directly from another page with a specific URL (use document.referrer)
•User has previously visited a page with a specific URL
Geolocation Conditions
•User has a specific geolocation IP Address or falls within a certain IP range
•User has a specific geolocation country code
•User has a specific geolocation region/state code
•User has a specific geolocation city
•User has a specific geolocation net speed
Cookie Conditions
•A specific cookie is present or not present
•A specific cookie is present with a certain text value
•A specific cookie is present with a certain text value
JavaScript Conditions
•Page has a specific JavaScript variable with a certain text value
•Page has a specific JavaScript variable with a certain number value
•Page has a specific JavaScript variable with a certain boolean value
Time Conditions
•User has been on the current page a certain amount of time
•User has been on the website a certain amount of time
Invitation Conditions
•User has not previously declined this rule’s invitation
•User has not previously declined any invitation
•User has been offered this rule’s invitation a certain number of times
•User has been offered any invitation a certain number of times
•User has not been offered this rule’s invitation within a certain amount of time
•User has not been offered any invitation within a certain amount of time
Form Field Conditions
•Page has a specific form field with a certain text value
•Page has a specific form field with a certain number value
•Page has a specific form radio or checkbox field checked or not checked
•Page has a specific form select field with a certain selected index
•Page has a specific form field element ID with a certain text value
•Page has a specific form field element ID with a certain number value
•Page has a specific form radio or checkbox field element ID checked or not checked
•Page has a specific form select field element ID with a certain selected index
