Sponsored by the Museum of Florida History, the Florida History Fair (FHF) is an annual, statewide activity that enhances the teaching and learning of history at elementary and secondary levels.

Debate and Diplomacy in History

This year’s National History Day (NHD) theme is “Debate and Diplomacy in History: Successes, Failures, Consequences.”

A Florida History Fair entry can address any person, event or idea from any time or place in history, but it also must relate to the annual theme.

The following list of Florida topics was developed by staff of the Museum of Florida History and the Division of Historical Resources, Florida Department of State. This list gives examples of resources available, but is not comprehensive.

Additional resources are available at the State Library and Archives of Florida in Tallahassee and through the Florida Electronic Library online.
