Public voting begins in Ask a Librarian video contest – High school finalists need your votes!

It’s time for the public to choose the winner of The Director’s Chair, a contest in which Florida high school students submitted commercials to promote Ask a Librarian. A panel of judges selected the top five videos from all of the entries, and now the public will choose the winner by voting for their favorite video by Feb. 20, 2010.

Ask a Librarian seeks judges for this year’s The Director’s Chair Contest

The Director’s Chair is a video contest where Florida high school students create 30-second videos promoting Ask a Librarian. Entrants submit their videos via Vimeo. An independent panel of judges will choose the top five finalists, and the public will vote for the Grand Prize winner.

Judging will take place on February 3rd via an online meeting at 1:30ET. You must be able to attend to be a judge.
